Um . . yeah. It could’ve been from the cheese.

    Yes, that would explain it.

I remember his parade in Muncie with the fire-breather, the giant camel, and the throngs of confetti-throwing, cheering people.

I missed that, even though I lived five blocks away from it. I think I overslept. Or had to work. Or had never heard of Tom Green. Or had heard of Tom Green and didn’t want to see him. Wasn’t it cold that day, I seem to remember it was cold that day. Maybe that’s why I didn’t go, because it was a cold day.

I remember Tom Green Day as a mild day. I also remember the time you burrowed through a raging blizzard to a mutual friend’s house for card night. I didn’t show up- there was a raging blizzard outside. Anyway, the parade was after my shift at the art gallery . . or maybe it was during my shift. Either way, I wasn’t going to miss Tom Green. It all went down during the late afternoon, and the deserted downtown street gradually turned into Grand Central Station. I was very impressed. The next day I flew to Boston. The day after that I flew to Jamaica with the future Mr. Cymast. The rest is history.

Yes, now I remember that it was right before you went off to Jamaica.
