The Adventures of Standard Man

LeFalcon put this comic book on the site as a post in September; I’m putting it up as a page.  He wrote then: “I’m trying to figure out when the heck this thing was made. It’s definitely old. And seems, incidentally, to have worn well with the passage of time.”  I seem to recall it was the summer of 1989 when he and I created it.

The comic book is self-explanatory.  Or maybe it’s inexplicable.  In either case, I certainly can’t explain it.  To my knowledge, however, it was the first superhero comic ever to derive from the theories of literary historian/ moralist Irving Babbitt, and to this day remains the only such superhero comic in existence.  If anyone knows of other such titles, please inform me of them in the comments.
