    Kinda reminds me of a cross between Rickie Lee Jones and Bjork.

    Jem has such a warm, sweet voice and she and Dave play so well together that I can’t believe she’s unsigned. The songs do have kind of a 90s quality to them, and of course Dave lacks youth appeal, but I can’t believe there isn’t some label out there that could market them successfully.

    Are they actively looking to be signed?

    What Dave may lack in youth appeal he may make up for in non-youth appeal, I would guess.

    I’m sure they are looking to be- they tag themselves as “unsigned” on the posts, and they do tour, try to get on the radio, etc. Why do any of those things if you aren’t looking for a record deal?

    I agree they have enough non-youth appeal that they would be a profitable act for the right label.
