/ December 12, 2008The comic makes an interesting point. It is bizarre that dreaming doesn’t seem like a bigger deal to us, at least those of us in this part of the world. I’m told that dreams are a bigger concern to Australian Aboriginals.
And the prospect of a gadget to convert brain activity into images on a screen- that seems like a pretty big deal, too.

/ December 12, 2008Last night, I had a long, detailed, realistic dream that I met and fell in love with a male cross dresser. I actually felt love for him and felt his love for me. It was so real that when I woke and realized it was a dream, I felt a real loss and wondered if he, likewise, had just dreamed about me.
While I feel comfortable talking about and writing about my own dreams, I would not feel comfortable having them played out frame-by-frame on a screen.

/ December 12, 2008What an interesting experience! I was going to write, “What an interesting dream,” but that was wrong- when we say “what an interesting dream,” we usually mean “What a complex and surprising storyline!” That’s not very complex, and (for you!)not at all surprising. But it certainly is an interesting experience. I hope you two are reunited tonight, or at nap time.
