That first pic is totally me sitting at my computer! Mr. Cymast is baffled at how I can put my feet up on my desk- or up the wall- and type and still be comfortable. Sometimes, to irk him, I’ll type with my hands between my knees, going over or under one or both legs. Fun!

And that second pic has been me on a few calls. Also fun!

I’d been waiting for months for the right post to illustrate with that second pic. What would it be about? People being dominated by technology? Catholic schools? S/M? I got tired of waiting for one of those topics to come up, so there you have it.

Thanks for posting the Catholic school girl pic, it’s great. IMO it doesn’t have much to do with technology. Catholic school- yes. S/M- somewhat.

It think the pic depicts the Catholic church as a soulless wind-up toy who’s purpose is to abuse and brainwash children into believing the Catholic church is the sole, valid, righteous Truth.

The first pic is something of a mystery, though.

Well, the toy is a piece of technology, and the woman is looking at it with alarm. So it looks like it has some kind of power over her.

True, but IMO it’s more of a “soulless wind-up toy” perpetuated by the Catholic church statement than a “technology” statement. The former has more overtly negative connotations associated with it at first glance. IMO
