    The first thing I thought of when I saw that commercial was The Stonecutters in that Simpsons episode.

    I didn’t see that episode. Stonecutters as in Freemasons? Mr. Cymast is a Freemason.

    Yes, it’s about one part spoof of the Freemasons, about ten parts spoof of anti-Masonic conspiracy theories. It’s hilarious.

    One thing I don’t quite understand about youtube videos is if and how people need to get permission to use other people’s videos in their own videos. What if Astley doesn’t want to be in a Snuggie Cult commercial, or what if he wants royalties?

    I’ve never posted anything on youtube myself, so I’m not clear on all the procedures. I’ve always assumed that there was an administrative staff to which you could complain if a post infringes your copyright, and which would have the power and responsibility to take the offending post down.
