/ December 27, 2008Baby Jesus looks like a small, white worm in all the pictures, IMO. In the Holy Nativity Convent pic, baby Jesus is in the pupa stage.

/ January 6, 2009Yes, it’s weird. We’re so used to realistic pictures of children that it’s hard to imagine what visual artists had in mind in earlier periods of history.
